From February 28 through March 7, 2015, a team will provide for the physical needs, as well as the spiritual needs, of the Honduran people. Follow us as we document the preparations and the planning, the training and the team-building, the going and the growing as we serve the LORD Jesus, our One and Only Savior, and the people of Honduras.

Our 2012 and 2013 missions are here as well ...

Packing the TRUNKS (not the swimming kind) ...

In just 75 hours, we will begin our travels to Tegucigalpa, Honduras!!
This is the second to the last post I will do before leaving ... until we return ... next post will be our itinerary.

Tonight, we packed the trunks will all of the supplies that we will be taking with us to Honduras ... roughly about 1200 pounds of supplies!!!  With an additional couple of trunks coming from team members meeting up with us, we will be over 1400 pounds of supplies consisting of medicines, vitamins, personal care, dental, hair, and so much more!!!

Here's Cyndi ... sorting medical supplies for packing.

Here's Stacy and Paul - really enjoying packing the eye drops and saline solutions!

Each trunk cannot go over 50 pounds in weight ... oops! ... This one is just over; we'll have to take something out.

Packing CAN be a lot of FUN!

Here's our Pastor Bob securing one of the trunks.

Many people were there to help ... there were SO MANY things to pack into the trunks!

There were several large boxes of eyeglasses, bagged and boxed ~ I have never seen so many eyeglasses before, not even at Lens Crafters!!  Just imagine how many Hondurans will be able to SEE better!!!

Local dentists donated toothbrushes and toothpaste.  Teammate Erik sorted those and bagged them for packing.

Molly and Brynn thought they'd see if anyone noticed them trying to stow into the cargo trailer.
Nice try, girls!

These lovely ladies packaged all of the combs.

And this group worked on counting out the last pills that needed to be sorted.

Yep, that's our daughter!

Each trunk was numbered and labeled and its contents logged so items can be
easily found when we arrive in Honduras.

We packed all of the trunks in just over an hour!  Woo Hoo!!
Sweet Molly took a photo for us of the packing crew ~ what a great job everyone did!
We're just about ready, now, aren't we??
