Hey Everybody! 

Just wanted to give you a few updates and also put out a few *!SHOUT-OUTS!* to some really great mission supporters!

 

All of these supplies came from a group of ladies (that we don't even know ... except for one) ~ thanks to Denise for spreading the word and supporting our efforts to collect supplies to take with us to Honduras!

ALL you fine LADIES, your support is greatly appreciated!!!

 

And to my Super-Awesome-Fantastic, One-of-a-Kind SISTER ~ *THANK-YOU* so much!!  ALL of your SUPPORT HAS and WILL make a Tremendous Difference in the lives of the Honduran people.

You are such a blessing and we PRAY God returns the blessings to you in a DOUBLE-DOSE!!!

 

Drum-roll, Please ...

We also had our FINAL meeting as a team today ... well, and it was a pot-luck gathering, as well.

There was A LOT of food!  YUM!

We also had our second opportunity to Skype with Jon and Helen, the missionaries who will be housing us in Honduras.  Several people were able to get last minute questions answered and we were able to hear more about the plans for the week that we are there.  (I will tell more about that in our "Itinerary" post)

 

Pastor Doug, from Calvary Church came and spoke a Word from the Lord over us and he prayed for all of us. 

He read from Ephesians 6:10-18 ...The Armor of God ...(I could do an entire post on these verses, which I just might do ... at a later date :-)

 

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

 

 

Colleen shared a little bit with us about the Children's Ministry and showed tools that can be used to tell the children the message about Jesus.

 

 

And then ... FINALLY ... I got a photo taken of all three of us (Brian, Ben and myself) ... TOGETHER ... HOORAY!!
