A God Concert ...

I know I probably said that my last post was the last post before leaving for Honduras but I just had to share this with you!!

This morning, I had to drive to Milwaukee for a work-related meeting; it’s about an hour each way. On the way there, I was in my morning haze, still waking up, drinking me tea and eating my breakfast bar, … but on the way back, I turned on the radio to listen to music. I listen to K-LOVE (105.3 fm) exclusively and I am not embarrassed to tell you that when I am by myself I tend to turn it up nice and loud and sing along with the songs that I really like.

So … right away, I was really pleased to “turn it up” because the song that came on was one that I REALLY LIKE.  But then, ... as song after song played, I became distinctly aware that God was putting on a very special concert ... JUST FOR ME!!  He can do that, you know!  Each song spoke out to me as if I was hearing it for the first time and I was completely amazed ... and giddy ... and touched! 

 

So, what did I do?  I wrote them all down ... YEP, while I was driving (not the safest thing, I know, but I was thinking of YOU, and YOU, and YOU and I really just wanted to share with you what God did for me today!! 

What I'm going to do is put the title of the song, the words that really struck me and then attach the link to it on YOU TUBE.  I hope that some of you will view/listen to these songs, definitely the first one and the last one.  The words are tremendous!!  If you need inspiration or a "pick-me-up", you will not be disappointed!
